Chris Chibnall is a British playwriter and television writer. He was the main writer for Broadchurch, Series 1 alongside Richard Stokes. Once again he was the main writer in it's follow up in 2015, Series 2. Outside of Broadchurch, Chibnall is best known for his work on Doctor Who and Torchwood.
